Welcome to the first ÄRJÄ ARCTIC TRAIL RUN trail running event on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM on Ärjänsaari, located on Lake Oulujärvi. This "low-threshold" trail running experience (approximately 10 km) will take place along the sandy shores and high cliffs of the Ärjä Islands, following paths near Finland's largest inland waterway, Ärjänselkä. While all runners will have a time limit, the purpose of the event is to be more of an experiential journey through the beautiful landscapes of the Ärjä Islands than a competitive event. The first 100 registered participants will be accepted.
Highlights
- This "low-threshold" trail running experience (about 10 km) takes place along the sandy beaches of Ärjänsaari and high cliffs.
- Both the first and last runner will receive the same ÄRJÄ memory award and will participate in the product prize draw.
